ASKFLY PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes how AskFly Inc. ("AskFly," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information when you access or use our website, mobile application, platform, tools, content, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). · Version 2026-10-03

This Privacy Policy is intended for users of AskFly's travel intelligence platform, including users who browse our website or app, create an account, submit travel questions, upload documents, subscribe to paid plans, receive alerts, participate in beta or early access programs, or otherwise interact with the Platform.

By using AskFly, you acknowledge that your personal information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.

Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect directly from you; automatically through your use of the Platform; from third-party service providers and partners; from booking, travel, affiliate, or integration interactions where applicable; and from support requests, surveys, marketing interactions, communications, or tester feedback.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, booking engines, airlines, hotels, affiliates, government portals, or other third-party services that may be linked from or integrated with AskFly. Those third parties have their own privacy policies and practices.

Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you use AskFly, we may collect the following categories of personal information.

Account and Identity Information: name, email address, phone number, username or login credentials, country or region, language preferences, subscription status, account settings, and profile information.

Travel and Trip Information: destinations, departure and arrival locations, travel dates, nationality or citizenship information you provide, residency or immigration-related information you provide, transit points, airline or carrier details, baggage-related inputs, pet travel details, travel preferences, loyalty or membership details if you choose to provide them, and other travel-related details.

Questions, Inputs, and Platform Interactions: questions you ask, prompts you submit, chat history, AI interactions, search queries, saved trips, checklist activity, document reminders, alerts you enable, feedback, survey responses, tester comments, and beta feedback.

Documents and Uploaded Content: if AskFly offers document-upload or storage features, we may collect documents and associated metadata that you choose to upload, such as passports, visas, travel authorizations, vaccination records, pet documents, booking confirmations, travel itineraries, and other travel-related files. You should not upload unnecessary sensitive information.

Payment and Subscription Information: if you purchase a subscription or other paid feature, we or our payment processors may collect billing name, billing address, payment method details, subscription plan details, transaction history, renewal status, and payment confirmation data. We generally use third-party payment processors and do not store full payment card numbers ourselves unless specifically disclosed.

Device and Usage Information: IP address, browser type, device type, device identifiers, operating system, app version, language settings, referral URLs, date/time stamps, pages viewed, features used, clicks, scrolls, session activity, crash logs, diagnostics, and analytics data.

Communications Information: support requests, chatbot interactions, email correspondence, SMS or push notification preferences, and records of communications with us.

Marketing and Advertising Information: newsletter sign-up data, campaign engagement, ad attribution data, referral data, cookie data, and tracking data where permitted.

Information We Collect Automatically

We and our service providers may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, tags, log files, and similar technologies to collect information about how you use the Platform. This may include browsing activity, device and browser information, app usage, interactions with features, marketing campaign performance, approximate location based on IP, session information, preferences, and authentication state.

These technologies help us operate the Platform, remember user preferences, improve performance, understand engagement, prevent fraud, and measure the effectiveness of marketing.

Information From Third Parties

We may receive personal information from payment processors, analytics providers, cloud hosting providers, customer support platforms, authentication providers, affiliate and advertising partners, fraud prevention vendors, travel data providers and APIs, app stores such as Apple or Google, and public or official sources used to support travel information features.

If you access AskFly through a third-party integration or marketplace, we may receive information associated with that interaction.

Sign in with Google

If you choose to sign up or log in with Google, we receive from Google your name, your email address, and your profile picture if your Google profile has one, as shown on Google's consent screen. We do not request or access any other data in your Google Account, such as your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or contacts.

We use this information to create and authenticate your AskFly account, to pre-fill your name in your profile, and to communicate with you about your account. Once it is part of your AskFly account, it is used, stored, retained, and protected in the same way as the account information you provide to us directly, as described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell Google user data. We share it only as described under "How We Share Personal Information". You can request deletion of your account, and the information we received from Google with it, from your profile settings, and you can revoke AskFly's access at any time in your Google Account settings.

How We Use Personal Information

To Provide the Platform: create and manage accounts; authenticate users; deliver AskFly features and responses; provide travel information, alerts, checklists, readiness scores, and document-related features; provide customer support; and maintain account settings and preferences.

To Operate and Improve AskFly: improve the quality, relevance, and performance of the Platform; monitor and enhance product functionality; debug, test, and troubleshoot technical issues; develop new tools and features; analyze beta feedback; and improve AI and automation performance, subject to applicable law and user controls where required.

To Process Payments and Subscriptions: process transactions; manage recurring billing; verify payment status; administer subscriptions; send receipts and billing notices; and prevent payment fraud.

To Communicate With You: send service-related messages; account, billing, and security notices; trip alerts and reminders; product updates; support communications; beta program communications; and early access notices.

For Marketing and Promotions: where permitted by law, send newsletters and promotional emails; inform you about new features, offers, and updates; measure marketing effectiveness; and personalize marketing content. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, but may still receive transactional messages.

For Security, Fraud Prevention, and Compliance: detect suspicious activity; protect the Platform and users; investigate misuse, abuse, violations of our Terms, or confidentiality violations; comply with legal obligations; enforce contracts and policies; and protect our rights, users, and business.

For Legal and Business Operations: maintain records; support audits and reporting; respond to legal requests; manage disputes and claims; and facilitate corporate transactions such as mergers, financing, reorganization, or asset sales.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where required by applicable law, we process personal information on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you; compliance with legal obligations; our legitimate interests in operating, improving, and securing AskFly; your consent, where required; and other lawful grounds permitted by applicable law.

How We Share Personal Information

Service Providers: we may share information with vendors and service providers who help us operate AskFly, such as cloud hosting providers, payment processors, analytics providers, customer support platforms, authentication providers, email and notification providers, fraud prevention and security vendors, infrastructure and storage providers, AI providers, and API providers. These providers are generally permitted to use personal information only to provide services to us or on our behalf.

Travel Data, Affiliate, and Integration Partners: where relevant to AskFly features or monetization, we may share limited data with travel affiliates, booking and link-tracking partners, API providers, and third-party travel tools or integrations you choose to use.

Legal and Regulatory Disclosures: we may disclose information where necessary to comply with a subpoena, court order, or legal request; respond to lawful regulatory inquiries; enforce our legal rights; protect against fraud, abuse, or security threats; and protect the rights, safety, and property of AskFly, our users, or others.

Business Transfers: if AskFly is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, diligence process, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of its business or assets, personal information may be disclosed as part of that transaction.

With Your Direction or Consent: we may share information where you direct us to do so or where you consent.

AI and Automated Processing

AskFly may use AI, machine learning, automation, third-party model providers, and other automated systems to process user inputs and generate travel-related outputs.

Information you submit, including travel questions, travel details, uploaded content, and feedback, may be processed by automated systems to generate answers and summaries; produce checklists, scores, or alerts; personalize certain outputs; improve feature performance; and detect misuse or quality issues.

AI-generated outputs may be based on automated processing and may not always be accurate, complete, or current. You remain responsible for independently verifying critical travel information. If AskFly uses third-party AI or API providers, those providers may process data on our behalf subject to contractual and technical controls, where applicable.

Beta, Early Access, and Tester Information

If you participate in a beta, early access, tester, founding user, First 100 User, or similar program, we may collect your feedback, bug reports, screenshots you choose to provide, usage activity, feature ratings, communications, and other information related to your participation.

We may use this information to test, improve, modify, secure, and launch AskFly. Participation in such programs may also be subject to confidentiality and non-disclosure obligations in the Terms of Service or a separate agreement.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Platform; maintain your account; fulfill subscriptions; comply with legal obligations; resolve disputes; enforce our agreements; maintain security; and keep business records.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, the nature of the service, legal requirements, and operational needs. We may retain certain data after account closure where permitted or required by law, including for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, legal, and audit purposes.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.

However, no system, network, storage environment, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You use AskFly and submit information at your own risk. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials; using secure devices and connections; keeping your own copies of important travel documents; and avoiding unnecessary uploads of highly sensitive information.

International Data Transfers

AskFly may process and store personal information in Canada, the United States, and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. As a result, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your province, state, or country of residence, where privacy laws may differ. Where required by law, we will use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to access personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of personal information; request portability of certain data; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; object to or restrict certain processing; opt out of certain marketing communications; and request information about how your data is used or disclosed.

These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions. To exercise applicable rights, contact us using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

Marketing Choices

You may opt out of promotional emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us. You may also be able to manage push notifications or SMS preferences through your device settings, app settings, or communication preferences. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you non-promotional messages, such as account notices, billing updates, legal notices, and service-related alerts.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

AskFly may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, remembering preferences, analytics, performance monitoring, fraud prevention, advertising, and attribution where permitted. You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings or device settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect Platform functionality. If required by law, AskFly will provide additional consent tools or cookie notices.

Children's Privacy

AskFly is not intended for children under the age of 13, and in some jurisdictions may not be intended for minors under a higher age threshold without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to AskFly unlawfully, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, government portals, affiliates, and booking providers. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third parties. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Quebec Privacy Officer and Contact

AskFly has designated a privacy contact responsible for privacy-related inquiries. Unless another person is formally designated, the person exercising the highest authority at AskFly is responsible for the protection of personal information under applicable Quebec privacy law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version and update the Effective Date. Where required by law, we may also provide additional notice. Your continued use of AskFly after the revised Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated policy.
